Description
A self-watering planter with a reservoir underneath, so a week away does not cost you the plant.
Two chambers: the plant sits in the top, the water sits in the bottom, and a wick moves one into the other at the rate the soil actually wants. You fill the reservoir, and the plant draws what it needs over the following week or two instead of getting a flood and then a drought. For succulents in particular that steady, modest supply is exactly right.
What makes it worth it
- Separate reservoir — fill it and leave it
- Wick feed that delivers water at the rate the soil takes it
- Fill port on the outside, so you never disturb the plant
- Level indicator so you know when it is empty
- No standing water at the roots, which is what actually kills succulents
- Any colour we stock
Made for
- Anyone who travels, or forgets
- Succulents, herbs and small houseplants
- Offices and desks where watering is nobody’s job
- Gifts for people who claim to kill every plant they own
Let the reservoir run empty for a day or two between fills. Succulents want a dry spell, and this makes it easy to give them one on purpose rather than by accident.
Printed to order in Canada
Every Compl3x piece is printed and finished by hand in our own Canadian workshop after you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is mass-produced. Colour options and custom sizing are a conversation, not a no — just ask.
Care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Use a saucer or a plastic liner if you water directly in the pot, and keep it out of hard all-day sun, which can soften the finish over a long summer.
