Description
A retro television that turns out to be a desk organiser, with the screen as the opening.
The cabinet is sculpted as a mid-century set — rounded screen bezel, a row of dials down one side, tapered legs at the corners — and the screen aperture is the way in. Pens, notes and small things go through the front and sit in a divided interior, so the object on your desk is a small television and the storage is invisible until you need it.
What makes it worth it
- Sculpted as a mid-century set — bezel, dials and tapered legs
- Screen aperture is the opening; storage is hidden inside
- Divided interior for pens, notes, clips and cables
- Substantial enough to hold its own on a desk
- Flat base under the legs, so it sits solid
- Any colour we stock — cream, walnut and burnt orange read most period
Made for
- Home offices and studio desks
- Mid-century and retro interiors
- Pens, sticky notes, cables and small tools
- Gifts for people whose desks have a personality
Cream with a contrasting bezel is the combination that reads most convincingly as a real set from across the room. Burnt orange is the more honest seventies answer.
Printed to order in Canada
Every Compl3x piece is printed and finished by hand in our own Canadian workshop after you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is mass-produced. Colour options and custom sizing are a conversation, not a no — just ask.
Care
Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged direct sunlight, which can dull the finish over time.
