Cookie Policy

The small files this site stores on your device, what each one is for, and how to turn the optional ones off.

Last updated 13 September 2026

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can remember something between page loads — that you are signed in, what is in your basket, which language you chose. Related technologies such as local storage and pixels do much the same job, and everything in this policy applies to them too.

2. Your choice

When you first visit we ask what you are happy with. Nothing optional runs before you answer. You can change your answer whenever you like through the cookie settings link in the footer of every page, and refusing is as easy as accepting.

Quebec’s Law 25 requires consent before technology that profiles or tracks you is activated, and requires that it be as easy to withdraw as to give. That is how this site is set up for everyone, not only for visitors in Quebec.

3. The categories

Strictly necessary — always on

These cannot be switched off, because the shop stops working without them. They do not track you across other websites.

Analytics — only with your consent

These tell us which pages people actually read, where they give up, and whether the site is fast enough. We look at patterns, not individuals.

Marketing and measurement — only with your consent

Used to measure whether an advert led to an order, and to avoid showing you something you have already bought. If you decline these, you will still see adverts elsewhere online; they will just be less relevant.

4. Changing your mind

Use the cookie settings link in the site footer. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings — every major browser lets you do this, and lets you delete what is already stored. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the cart and checkout working.

Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no agreed standard for honouring it, so we rely on the cookie banner instead, which gives you a clearer and more reliable choice.

5. Third parties

Optional cookies are set by the third parties named above and are governed by their own privacy policies as well as ours. Information collected through them may be processed outside Canada; our Privacy Policy explains what that means.

6. Changes and contact

If we add or remove a cookie we will update this page and, where consent is needed, ask again. Questions go to studiocompl3x@gmail.com.
