Description
A plant stand shaped like a tree stump — bark texture, growth rings, and a flat top that takes a real pot.
It is a pedestal that looks like it was cut from a tree rather than manufactured. The sides carry proper bark texture with irregular ridges, the top shows concentric rings, and the flare at the base is what gives it stability under a heavy pot. Lifting a plant eighteen inches off the floor changes a room more than most furniture does.
What makes it worth it
- Bark texture and growth rings sculpted into the surface
- Flat top sized to take a real floor pot
- Flared base that carries a heavy, top-heavy plant
- Works as a side table for a lamp or a drink as easily as a plant
- Hollow, so it weighs a fraction of what it looks like
- Any colour we stock; warm browns and greys read most like timber
Made for
- Floor plants that need lifting into the light
- Living-room corners and beside armchairs
- Bathrooms and conservatories
- Photography and display props
A warm brown filament reads convincingly as timber from a couple of feet away. Printed in matte black it stops being a stump and becomes a sculptural pedestal, which is equally good and much more modern.
Printed to order in Canada
Every Compl3x piece is printed and finished by hand in our own Canadian workshop after you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is mass-produced. Colour options and custom sizing are a conversation, not a no — just ask.
Care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Use a saucer or a plastic liner if you water directly in the pot, and keep it out of hard all-day sun, which can soften the finish over a long summer.
