Description
A gothic lantern with traceried windows that throw arched shadows up the wall.
The windows are the piece. Each face carries pointed arch tracery cut right through, so an LED tealight inside projects that arch pattern outward onto the surface and the wall behind it. Unlit it reads as a small piece of architecture; lit, the room gets the shadows of a much bigger building.
What makes it worth it
- Pierced tracery on every face, projecting arch shadows outward
- Sized for a standard LED tealight
- Something to look at from all four sides
- Reads as architecture when it is not lit
- Groups well at different heights
- Any colour we stock — matte black gives the sharpest shadow edges
Made for
- Mantels, side tables and windowsills
- Gothic, Victorian and maximalist rooms
- Halloween and seasonal dressing
- Anyone who likes a light that does something to the room
LED tealights only. A flickering warm one makes the arch shadows move slightly, which is the version of this worth having.
Printed to order in Canada
Every Compl3x piece is printed and finished by hand in our own Canadian workshop after you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is mass-produced. Colour options and custom sizing are a conversation, not a no — just ask.
Care
Made for LED or battery tealights only — never a real flame. Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth.
