Description
A tree rendered as wall art — branching, layered, and casting a shadow that is half the piece.
It is designed to be lit from the side. Mounted flat, the layered branches read as a clean graphic silhouette; put a lamp off to one side and the whole thing throws a second tree onto the wall behind it, larger and softer than the first. The branching is fine enough to look organic and thick enough not to be fragile.
What makes it worth it
- Layered branch structure that casts a second tree in shadow
- Fine branching that still survives dusting and handling
- Mounts flat with concealed fixings
- Reads as a graphic silhouette in flat light, as depth in raking light
- Sized to fill a wall gap without dominating the room
- Any colour we stock — matte black and white are the strongest
Made for
- Living rooms, bedrooms and hallways
- Blank walls above a sofa or a bed
- Rentals, where a single small fixing is the limit
- Housewarming gifts with some weight to them
Hang it where light comes from one side rather than straight on. Flat lighting gives you a nice silhouette; raking light gives you the piece it was designed to be.
Printed to order in Canada
Every Compl3x piece is printed and finished by hand in our own Canadian workshop after you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is mass-produced. Colour options and custom sizing are a conversation, not a no — just ask.
Care
Fix into a stud, or use the anchor rated for your wall type, and keep the load sensible. Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
