Description
A shelving unit shaped like a tree, with the shelves growing out of the trunk as branches.
The branches are the shelves. A central trunk rises up the wall and splits into staggered horizontal limbs at different heights and depths, so the whole unit is a piece of wall art that happens to hold books and plants. Because the branches are asymmetric, an odd arrangement of objects on it looks intentional rather than untidy.
What makes it worth it
- Branch shelves at staggered heights and depths
- Asymmetric by design — an uneven arrangement looks right on it
- Mounts through the trunk, so the fixings disappear into the form
- Each branch rigid enough for books or a small planted pot
- Reads as wall art when it is half empty
- Any colour we stock — matte black is graphic, warm brown is literal
Made for
- Living rooms, bedrooms and children’s rooms
- Small plants, books and objects
- Blank walls that need one thing rather than a gallery
- Nurseries and reading corners
Load it unevenly on purpose. A tree shelf with three things on one branch and nothing on the next looks considered; loaded symmetrically it just looks like shelving.
Printed to order in Canada
Every Compl3x piece is printed and finished by hand in our own Canadian workshop after you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is mass-produced. Colour options and custom sizing are a conversation, not a no — just ask.
Care
Fix into a stud, or use the anchor rated for your wall type, and keep the load sensible. Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
