Description
A stag’s head as a wall sconce — antlers, muzzle and all, with a shelf where a trophy plaque would be.
Taxidermy without the taxidermy. The head is sculpted with proper structure — the taper of the muzzle, the set of the ears, antlers that branch asymmetrically the way real ones do — and mounted on a plate that carries a small shelf beneath it. Put a candle or a plant on the shelf and it becomes a sconce rather than an ornament.
What makes it worth it
- Sculpted with real anatomy, including asymmetric antler branching
- Integrated shelf beneath for an LED candle or a small plant
- Concealed fixings through the mount plate
- Antlers printed solid enough to survive dusting and handling
- Far lighter than a resin or cast mount
- Any colour we stock — matte white and black both work, for different reasons
Made for
- Living rooms, hallways and cabins
- Lodge, gothic and maximalist interiors
- Above a fireplace, a console or a bed
- Gifts for people who want a stag but not a dead one
Matte white makes it read as sculpture and disappears into a pale wall; matte black makes it graphic and stark. Both are better than trying to imitate bone.
Printed to order in Canada
Every Compl3x piece is printed and finished by hand in our own Canadian workshop after you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is mass-produced. Colour options and custom sizing are a conversation, not a no — just ask.
Care
Fix into a stud, or use the anchor rated for your wall type, and keep the load sensible. Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
