Description
A greenhouse roof and frame that turns an ordinary mason jar into a terrarium worth looking at.
A jar with a plant in it is a jar with a plant in it. Add a pitched roof, a frame and a base and it becomes a miniature greenhouse — the same humidity, the same easy propagation, but an object you would actually put on a windowsill. It fits standard wide-mouth mason jars, which you almost certainly already have.
What makes it worth it
- Fits standard wide-mouth mason jars
- Pitched roof and framed sides — a real greenhouse in miniature
- Lifts off in one piece to water and tend the plant
- Base ring that stops the jar rocking on a hard surface
- Ideal humidity for cuttings, moss and small ferns
- Any colour we stock — white and sage read most like a greenhouse
Made for
- Propagating cuttings and rooting clippings
- Moss, ferns and small tropical plants
- Kitchen windowsills and bright bathrooms
- Gifts for plant people, with a cutting already inside
Use your own jar. That is the point of it — the frame costs a fraction of a purpose-made terrarium and the glass is already in your cupboard.
Printed to order in Canada
Every Compl3x piece is printed and finished by hand in our own Canadian workshop after you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is mass-produced. Colour options and custom sizing are a conversation, not a no — just ask.
Care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Use a saucer or a plastic liner if you water directly in the pot, and keep it out of hard all-day sun, which can soften the finish over a long summer.
