Description
A wall-mounted coat rack with pegs deep enough for a winter parka, not just a tea towel.
The failure mode of a cheap coat rack is the peg: too short, too smooth, angled the wrong way, and a heavy coat slides off it every time. These pegs are long, gently tapered and tilted up, so a parka hood stays where you put it. The back rail spreads the load across two fixing points rather than hanging everything off one.
What makes it worth it
- Long, upswept pegs sized for winter coats and loaded bags
- Two-point fixing that spreads the weight across the wall
- Rounded peg ends that will not mark a wool coat
- Mounts flush, so it sits tight to the wall with no rattle
- Wipes clean when the salt and slush come in
- Any colour we stock — match the trim or contrast it deliberately
Made for
- Entryways, hallways and mudrooms
- Apartments and student housing with no closet to speak of
- Bathrooms, for robes and towels
- Studios and workshops, for aprons and bags
Canadian winters mean wet wool hanging indoors for months. The pegs are spaced so coats hang apart and actually dry, instead of pressing against each other.
Printed to order in Canada
Every Compl3x piece is printed and finished by hand in our own Canadian workshop after you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is mass-produced. Colour options and custom sizing are a conversation, not a no — just ask.
Care
Fix into a stud, or use the anchor rated for your wall type, and keep the load sensible. Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
