Description
A letter tray shaped like a folder icon, for the paper that still turns up in a paperless office.
The form is a joke that ages well — a folder, rendered in three dimensions, holding actual folders. Underneath the wit it does the job properly: the back is tall enough to keep a stack upright, the front is cut low so you can read the top sheet without lifting anything, and the footprint matches a letter sheet with a little room to spare.
What makes it worth it
- Sized for letter and A4 without the paper bowing in the middle
- Low front cut so the top document stays readable
- Tall back that keeps a full stack standing
- Flat, non-slip base — it does not travel across a desk
- Stacks with a second one when the paper wins
- Any colour we stock, including a set in two tones
Made for
- Home offices and study desks
- Post, receipts and the paperwork that has to stay physical
- Studio and workshop benches
- Desk gifts for people who like a visual pun
Two stacked — one for things to deal with, one for things already dealt with — is the whole filing system most desks actually need.
Printed to order in Canada
Every Compl3x piece is printed and finished by hand in our own Canadian workshop after you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is mass-produced. Colour options and custom sizing are a conversation, not a no — just ask.
Care
Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged direct sunlight, which can dull the finish over time.
