Description
Ribbed Bathroom Trash Can
Made in Canada, one at a time. The Ribbed Bathroom Trash Can is built to live around water and still look right. It is designed, engineered and manufactured by Compl3x in Canada — made when you order it, finished by hand, and inspected before it is packed.
What it is for
It is designed for a bathroom counter or wall: easy to rinse, quick to dry, and shaped so it does not trap a puddle underneath it.
Why people buy it
- Built to live around water
- Rinses clean and dries quickly
- Keeps the counter tidy without plastic-bin energy
- Sits flat or mounts cleanly depending on the design
- Made to order in the colour shown, with custom colours available on request
How it is made
Every Ribbed Bathroom Trash Can is produced in our own facility using additive manufacturing rather than being ordered in from a warehouse. That changes three things. We can hold quality consistent because nothing leaves without being looked at. We can improve a design the week we notice it could be better, instead of waiting out a mould. And we can build geometry — internal structure, continuous curves, one-piece moving parts — that injection moulding and machining simply cannot produce at this scale.
It also means we are not guessing at demand. Nothing sits in a container for six months, and nothing is over-produced to hit a minimum order quantity. If you want a variation on this piece, that is a conversation rather than a tooling bill — see our custom manufacturing services.
Finish, care and colour
Pieces ship in the colour shown unless you arrange otherwise. Clean with a dry or lightly damp cloth; skip the dishwasher, solvents and abrasive pads, and keep any printed piece out of prolonged direct sun or a hot car, which is hard on every polymer. Looked after, it will outlast the moulded version of the same thing.
Ordering, shipping and returns
Orders ship across Canada and the United States, with tracking on every parcel. Because each piece is produced to order there is a short production window before dispatch rather than same-day picking from a shelf — most orders leave within a few business days. If anything arrives damaged or not as described, contact the studio and we will make it right. Full terms are on our shipping page and returns page.
Questions
Will it go mouldy?
It is not porous, so it will not absorb water. Rinse and dry it occasionally like anything else in a bathroom.
Can it go in the shower?
Occasional splashing is fine. Constant hot steam is hard on any printed piece, so a spot outside the direct spray is best.
Can you match my tiles or fittings?
Often yes — send a photo or a colour reference and we will advise.
