We take a lot of business orders and the ones that go smoothly all start the same way: the customer knows four things before they email. Here is what those are, and what actually changes as quantity climbs.

What changes at each scale

Ten units is a same-week job on standard designs. Fifty means scheduling across machines and usually a week to ten days. Two hundred is a production run that we plan properly, and at that point it is worth a conversation about whether printing is still the right process at all – see our comparison with injection moulding. We would rather tell you to get a mould quote than take an order that does not serve you.

Pricing steps start immediately

Bulk pricing on our product pages applies from small quantities upward, because the saving is in batching and handling rather than tooling. It is a gentler curve than a factory’s, but it starts at three units rather than three thousand.

Branding

Logos can be embossed or debossed into many designs. The practical limit is fine detail at small scale – a logo with thin lines or small text will not read cleanly below a certain size, and we will tell you that up front rather than printing two hundred of something disappointing. Send vector artwork if you have it.

The four things to tell us

Quantity, deadline, colour requirements, and whether the design is ours or yours. With those four we can quote accurately in a day. Without them we are guessing, and the guess will be padded.

Lead times we can actually hold

We quote dispatch dates conservatively because a missed date on a corporate order is worse than a slightly longer quoted one. If your deadline is tight, say so early – sometimes we can restructure the run to hit it, and sometimes the honest answer is no.

Repeat orders

Once a design is set up, reorders are straightforward and faster. Consistency matters here: printed in separate runs months apart, colour can drift slightly between spools. If exact matching across reorders is important, tell us and we will reserve material.
