Start with stackable and modular
If you do not want a custom job, modular is the next best thing. Units that stack and interlock let you build up to fill a height rather than buying one box that is nearly right. The Customizable Box with Slide Lid and Display Box both work this way.
Measure three times, not twice
Before ordering anything, measure the width at the front and the back of the space, and the height at both ends. Older houses are not square and cabinets are not plumb. A box that fits at the front and jams at the back is the most common storage disappointment there is.
Where made-to-measure pays off
Printing has no tooling cost, so a one-off box sized exactly to your gap costs a little more in design time and nothing in setup. For an awkward space you look at every day, that is usually the right call. Send us the measurements, a photo of the space, and what is going in it. We will tell you honestly whether a stock size would do – sometimes it would, and we will say so.
Drawer dividers are the highest-impact thing on this list
A divided drawer stays tidy because everything has a slot. An undivided drawer becomes a bin within a week regardless of how carefully it was arranged. Dividers are cheap to print, quick to make, and can be sized to the exact internal dimension of your drawer rather than the nearest available.
Label it or lose it
Opaque storage hides things so successfully that you forget you own them. Either use open-front designs so contents are visible, or commit to labelling. We can print raised lettering directly into a box face, which never peels off.
